Shop the Block is an opportunity for the Winston-Salem community to shop local and support locally owned businesses in the downtown area. The event is organized by Downtown Winston-Salem, an active member organizations with businesses and organizations who want to support and participate in initiatives, projects, and advocacy to improve Downtown Winston-Salem in many different ways.

The "block" includes several retailers located down Trade St., Liberty St., and N Main St. Specialty small businesses like art galleries, clothing boutiques, tattoo shops and antique stores are some of the businesses that currently make up the downtown retail scene.

Shop The Block is back from November 3 to 6, 2022 with exclusive deals. Coupon books with unique deals and free tote bags will be available for pickup the week of the event at any of the participating retail outlets.
